missingWrote a review on 03 Decstair access
Accessing the bedrooms required navigating outside stairs, which could pose a challenge for those with mobility issues. While the cozy ambiance was appreciated, the absence of shampoo and reliance on a small bottle of body wash felt slightly lacking in attention to guest essentials. a hot breakfast option would have elevated the experience even more.

absolutely loved my stay at queen matilda country rooms. jo was super friendly and helped us with an early check-in which was a lifesaver for our wedding day! the room was clean, comfy and nicely decorated. breakfast was delish and they had these homemade preserves that were just amazing. also, the quiet location was perfect for relaxin after the busy day.
but the room placement made it a bit awkward for privacy, and could use some more toiletries like shampoo.

The room was clean and well-maintained during our stay.
We faced challenges with privacy, as our room's proximity to the entrance meant we had to keep the blinds closed even during the day. we were disappointed to find that there was no shampoo provided—only a small bottle of body wash. Such small details made us feel that the stay could have been improved with a bit more attention to guest amenities.

Big hype, little substance
Nestled in a charming location, the inn provides comfortable rooms with delightful breakfasts tailored to guests' preferences. The warm and welcoming hostess truly makes you feel at home. With easy parking and proximity to lovely Cotswolds attractions, it’s perfect for exploring. Be prepared for the slightly chilly rooms though, even with heating adjustments.

The room was beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and clean environment for relaxation. Jo's hospitality stood out. she accommodated our early check-in and offered numerous taxi recommendations. The continental breakfast was delightful and substantial, with options like iced coffee that enhanced our morning. the lack of privacy due to room placement was an issue, and additional toiletries would have improved the experience further.
